Why did EPISD Call a Bond?
The Eagle Pass ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to accept the EPISD Facilities Improvement Committee's recommendation to call a bond totaling $150 million for the May 2026 election. This decision came after months of work by the committee comprised of community members, which determined and prioritized future-ready education, safety and security, equity, and financial transparency.
